I take a walk wearing my expensive Ralph Lauren leather riding boots until I reach a large river. There is a clear part without current and I decide to clean my boots off at first, then I continue to explore that part some more, really testing my boots. At the end I remove them to show my wet socks and also the insides of my boots.

I test a new pair of red high heeled boots in a deep river. Because its cold I put on a pair of red leather gloves.

In the end I step out of the river because I want to show my socks, but I took a wrong step and almost broke my ankle. My socks didn't get wet much that day, just one drop of water stained my sock in the left boot.

On a cold and rainy day I test my leather lace up boots in a small stream. Soon I have to realize that those boots are not waterproof at all. After some time I feel the water coming in and my socks getting wet.

The weather is really bad today, but nevertheless I go out for a walk in the rain. Instead of wearing rubber boots, I choose one of my favorite leather boots for today. Hogan boots that discolor when the first drops of rain touch them.
I wear them through several big puddles and in the end at a different spot I clean them off in a small river and remove them. Can the soft leather withstand this unusual treatment?
